Description of lesson: Begin researching ideas for your final project (explained in lesson #10)
Assignment: Students will be begin to think about how they want to show me their knowledge for their final project. They will be introduced to many ways to begin their project. They will need to find and integrate how Romeo and Juliet is still relevant today, how is the 21st century still introducing Shakespeare into their culture?
Resources/materials needed: Internet access
Technology reflection: Below is a timeline with links to videos, articles, and pictures of how Romeo and Juliet has been introduced in the 21st century. You may use these videos to begin brainstorming your project.
(as a classroom teacher, this will be where you jot your notes on what went right, what needs to be changed, etc.)
Students will be able to see how relevant Shakespeare still is in the 21st century and how they can show their understanding using 21st tools.
